Financial services provider Apex Group has appointed Kimberly DeTrask as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Maxwell Johnston as Chief Business Officer (CBO).
Effective 1 October 2025, DeTrask joins Apex Group from State Street, where she has served for over 12 years, most recently as Treasurer and Executive Vice President.
Before joining State Street, she spent more than 14 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where she worked in the Risk and Policy unit, contributing to key regulatory and risk frameworks.
Johnston, an existing member of the Executive Committee who has held several roles in his 8-year tenure at Apex Group, previously held roles including driving M&A strategy, Chief of Staff and most recently as interim-CFO.
