Amundi has begun hosting a number of Goldman Sachs investment funds domiciled in Luxembourg following a partnership agreement.
The French asset manager is providing a “management company” for three systematic and alternative investment Sicavs offered by Goldman Sachs Fund Solutions & Origination (GSFSO).
The funds have a total of €2.6 billion of assets under management.
Amundi manages, controls and supervises Luxembourg investment vehicles based on GSFSO’s systematic trading strategies. Amundi also provides a management service, and analysis and monitoring of external managers operating on Goldman’s Ucits platform for alternative funds.
Maryline Mertz, managing director of Goldman Sachs said: “We are delighted to have completed the implementation of our partnership with Amundi. This partnership offers strong support for our business.”
Amundi offers the service through its fund hosting business line for Ucits and alternative funds offered by investment banks and asset managers.
