Aurélia Lecourtier will become Amundi’s chief financial officer (CFO), and Domenico Aiello will become Amundi Italy’s deputy chief executive officer starting November 1.
Domenico Aiello, currently Amundi’s CFO, joined the company in 2017. He assumed the role of the CFO in 2019 following the acquisition of Pioneer Investments, where he had overseen risk management, legal and compliance matters.
Before this role, he had been the head of M&A and business development at UniCredit since 2002. Before that, his role at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London involved a focus on financial institutions. Domenico graduated from London’s European Business School with a degree in International Business Studies.
Lecourtier joined Amundi in 2021 as the chief of staff to CEO Valérie Baudson. Before this, from 2017 to 2021, she served as an advisor to the Prime Minister, overseeing public accounts, the civil service and state reform affairs. Additionally, she was the chief of staff to the minister for action and public accounts.
With a background as a member of the Cour des Comptes (French audit institution), she also held various financial roles within the government’s general secretariat, the ministry of finance, and the office of the minister of foreign affairs. Aurélia Lecourtier is a former student of ENA, a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, and holds a DEA in international relations.
