North Carolina-based Allspring Global Investments has appointed Sophie Freemantle as head of international product.
Based in London, Freemantle will be responsible for advancing Allspring’s international product strategy and overseeing the evolution of the business’s product offering to support long-term growth and client demand across international markets. She will report into Rick Genoni, global head of product.
She brings more than a decade of experience in global asset management, most recently at Federated Hermes, where she held senior roles focused on international product strategy and development.
At Federated, she led complex cross-border initiatives spanning multiple asset classes and fund domiciles, working closely with investment teams and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
