AllianceBernstein has appointed Thiemo Volkholz to head of retail for Germany and Austria.
The firm, which is planning to grow in the region, has also named its Swiss sales director as head of the firm’s retail business in Switzerland.
Thiemo Volkholz – formerly head of German, Austrian and Swiss accounts for PGIM Investments – becomes head of retail for Germany and Austria.
Peter Leffler, meanwhile, becomes head of Switzerland, retail, after working at the firm as Swiss sales director since 2019.
The firm said the Swiss client base showed a “growing interest across a wide range of products and solutions” and that the firm wanted to accelerate its growth in the region.
