US funds house AllianceBernstein has promoted Alexander Hoffman to the newly-created role of head of global financial intermediaries and appointed Markus Rottler as sales director for Germany, Switzerland and Austria (DACH).
Hoffmann has over 25 years industry experience and was previously head of banks and financial institutions for Switzerland at Pioneer Investments, now part of Amundi. He joined AllianceBernstein in 2014 as director for the DACH region.
Rottler will fill Hoffmann’s previous role as sales director for DACH and will focus on the wholesale market.
Rottler has 15 years of experience, most recently at Macquarie Investment Management where he oversaw wholesale distribution in Germany.
