Gresham, a data automation solution provider for the financial services industry, has launched an upgrade to its flagship reconciliation solution for investment managers, aimed at streamlining workflows, improving data oversight and cutting operational costs.
Gresham’s Control for Investment Management solution, previously known under the Electra brand, now features a cloud-based web interface. The platform is a tool for investment managers, hedge funds and other buy-side organisations seeking “efficient reconciliation of cash, positions and transactions”.
The updated version retains Control’s patented, intelligent workflow and the new web-based interface is designed to make critical data oversight easier for operational teams, allowing for faster and more flexible access to essential information, shared the provider.
Control for Investment Management is fully integrated with Gresham’s Pulse Data solution, connecting data feeds from global sources. This single-vendor model is intended to simplify the operational ecosystem, accelerate exception management processes and reduce reconciliation costs for investment managers.

Ian Manocha, CEO of Gresham, commented: “Moving Control for Investment Management to a web-based solution is an important step forward and gives our clients faster access, more flexibility, and greater control. It’s the first of a series of exciting new product releases we’re rolling out to meet the evolving needs of financial institutions. It’s a strong sign of the investment we are making in our product roadmap and suite of cloud offerings.”
The solution now also offers an application programming interface allowing firms to automate the extraction and updating of records. Built-in documentation helps clients learn new features, while Gresham’s onboarding team supports implementation for large-scale asset managers and hedge funds.
Steve Weinburg, product manager at Gresham, added: “Clients worldwide have relied on this tool for essential reconciliation tasks. By introducing a web-based interface and expanding our APIs, we’re creating stronger links between Control for Investment Management and other Gresham solutions, enabling data and insights from one product to enhance the capabilities of another. This approach boosts daily efficiency while offering a more integrated, unified experience for investment managers around the globe.”
