T. Rowe Price has appointed Ashlesha Vaishampayan as its head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea) consultant relations, effective January 1, 2025.
Vaishampayan, currently leading consultant relations for Asia ex-Japan, will relocate from Singapore to London, reflecting the firm’s strategic focus on strengthening its presence in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (Emea) region.
Since joining T. Rowe Price in 2019, Vaishampayan has played a role in deepening consultant engagement across Asia, stated the firm. In her new role, she will draw on her extensive network and in-depth understanding of T. Rowe Price’s offerings to build and enhance relationships with consultants and research houses across Emea.
Nick Slater, head of global consultant relations, praised Vaishampayan’s appointment: “Ash has shown exceptional leadership in expanding our consultant relations footprint across Asia. Her transition to the EMEA region comes at a time when her expertise will propel our ambitions to deepen relationships and gain significant traction with consultants and research houses across key markets. We are confident that her leadership will drive significant success.”
Vaishampayan brings prior experience in Emea markets, having held senior consultant relations roles in London earlier in her career. This background equips her with valuable insights to navigate the region’s consultant landscape effectively. Meanwhile, her responsibilities in Asia will be handed over to Cassandra Crowe, who will assume the role of Head of Asia Pacific Consultant Relations. Crowe, also a T. Rowe Price veteran since 2019, has been instrumental in engaging with investment consultants and research houses in Australia and New Zealand.
Both Vaishampayan and Crowe will report to Nick Slater, ensuring continuity in T. Rowe Price’s global consultant relations strategy as the firm looks to expand its influence across key markets.
