Private markets placement agent Campbell Lutyens is to open an office in Dubai, as interest in doing business in the Middle East region grows among global private capital firms.
The London-based firm is to open its office in the Dubai International Financial Centre, to support its primaries, secondaries and GP capital advisory businesses.
The office will be led managing director Phiras Soubra and assisted by vice-president Tala Itani, who previously worked in office of the prime minister of the United Arab Emirates.
Over the past couple of years Axa IM Alts, Ardian, Investindustrial, Tikehau Capital, General Atlantic, Apex Group and Franklin Templeton have variously opened offices in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
