Gresham House, an alternative asset manager, has appointed Hyewon Kong as sustainable investment director.
Based in London, Kong will lead the firm’s sustainable investment team and strategy, driving ESG initiatives across its investment strategies. A professional with over 20 years of experience in sustainable investing across Asia, Europe, and North America, Kong joined Gresham House following her role as head of responsible investing at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO). During her tenure, she led ESG integration across various asset classes. Kong has also held key roles such as assistant vice president and head of ESG at AGF Investments, where she managed global sustainable and impact investing strategies.
She has served on several boards and committees, including the Investment Committee at The Atmospheric Fund and the Environmental Finance Advisory Committee at the University of Toronto. She is currently a director at the University of British Columbia Investment Management and co-founder & chair of the Canadian Responsible Investment Working Group, reflecting her thought leadership in the sustainable investment space.
