Investment advisor Payden & Rygel has expanded its London-based insurance investment team with the appointment of Niall Clifford as senior vice president.
Clifford, a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK, joined Payden from Mercer, where he was a principal in its insurance solutions team. He brings over twenty years of experience working with sophisticated insurance companies to Payden’s broader insurance investment team.
Unveiling the intricacies of collateralised loan obligations
Clifford will collaborate with institutional investors to create bespoke solutions designed to enhance investment results by leveraging Payden’s spectrum of customised strategies. He will focus particularly on helping insurance companies improve their risk-adjusted returns in line with their risk appetite, capital position, and accounting and liquidity considerations.
