Lorraine Rooney has been appointed as chief executive of TMF Group’s Irish fund management arm.
Based in Dublin, she will report to James Coughlan, TMF Group’s market head for British Isles and Ireland.
In the new role, Rooney be responsible for leading the firm’s fund management strategies and services.

She was previously general counsel and head of product at TMF Fund Management, which was formerly known as Goodbody Fund Management before being acquired by TMF Group in October 2023.
With a background in the legal profession, Rooney has also worked as general counsel for the likes of MUFG Investor Services and Axa Life Europe and as a compliance officer for State Street and Carne Group.
She has also worked as a funds lawyer and associate for law firm Decherts in its Dublin office.
