Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has bolstered its pan-European funds capabilities with the appointment of Conor Durkin as a funds partner in its Dublin office.
Durkin, who specialises in investment funds and asset management, will lead the Dublin funds team.
His experience includes advising on the establishment, structuring and operation of funds covering a range of asset classes, including both traditional and alternative investment funds.
Durkin joins from Mason Hayes & Curran, where he has been a partner for eight years.
His appointment follows the recruitment of Dr Jan Saalfrank and Benoît Rose as funds partners in the firm’s Luxembourg office in February and August of this year, respectively.
Ann Lalor, head of Pinsent Masons’ Dublin office, said: “Ireland continues to be an important jurisdiction for investment funds and increasingly for funds and managers targeting private market investments.
“The addition of Conor to the funds team will enable us to further support our multinational client base as part of our growing international funds and asset management practice.”
