LaSalle has made two senior hires for its debt and value-add investment teams.
The firm has appointed Rosanna Phillips as its managing director for its debt investment team and Kevin Kong as director of acquisitions for value-add investments.
The hires are part of the real estate manager’s strategic growth and continued expansion in Europe of its debt & value-add strategies platform, which currently has $10 billion in assets under management.
Phillips joins LaSalle from Intriva Capital where she was general counsel and responsible for overseeing the company’s legal matters.
Prior to joining Intriva, Phillips had spent over 10 years at Linklaters and had been seconded to LaSalle during that time. At LaSalle, Phillips will be based in London.
Meanwhile, Kong, who will also be based in London, joins LaSalle from UBS Asset Management where he held the role of director of the multi-managers real estate group.
Kong had originally started his career at Citibank London before moving on to Meyer Bergman, his final role being senior vice president of acquisitions. In that role, he was responsible for value-add transactions in Europe.
Michael Zerda, head of debt & value-add strategies at LaSalle, commented on the appointments: “The addition of Rosanna and Kevin brings a wealth of experience and market knowledge to our growing business, and we are pleased to welcome them to LaSalle.
“We are excited to continue to build our European debt and value-add equity investing capabilities as we deliver value for our investors.”
