Global X ETFs has launched three European Ucits ETFs, expanding its thematic growth range and introducing its first income fund to the European market.
The new funds include the Global X Solar Ucits ETF (RAYZ) and the Global X AgTech and Food Innovation Ucits ETF (KROP).
The latest launches take the firm’s thematic growth range to 21 funds in the European market.
RAYZ will track the Solactive Solar v2 index, while KROP will track the Solactive AgTech & Food Innovation v2 index. Both funds have an expense ratio of 0.50%.
RAYZ will provide access to companies involved in solar energy materials, solar energy systems and components, solar power production, solar technology and solar installation, integration, and maintenance.
Meanwhile, KROP seeks to provide investors with targeted exposure to various agtech and food innovation sub-themes, such as precision agriculture, agricultural robotics/automation, agricultural biotechnology and protein/dairy alternatives.
Morgane Delledonne, director of research, Europe at Global X ETFs, said: “Renewable energy has climbed as a portion of total global energy production over the past decade and its growth will need to accelerate significantly in the coming decades to meet net-zero emissions goals. In addition, the interconnected challenges of climate change, resource scarcity and global population growth require reimagining how we approach food.”
The third fund, the Global X SuperDividend Ucits ETF (SDIV), represents the firm’s first income Ucits ETF in Europe.
SDIV will track the Solactive Global SuperDividend v2 Index and has a management fee of 0.45%. Delledonne said the ETF accesses “some of the highest dividend yielding equity securities, resulting in potential yields that may exceed other high dividend ETFs”.
All three are listed on the London Stock Exchange and Deutsche Börse Xetra.
