Rathbone Investment Management has appointed Sanjiv Tumkur, former senior equity analyst at Investec Wealth & Investment, as head of equity research in London.
Tumkur will report to Elizabeth Savage, head of research.
Tumkur has 20 years’ experience in research and asset management. At Investec Wealth & Investment, where he spent nearly seven years, Tumkur primarily focused on large-cap stocks across the UK, Europe and the US.
Prior, he spent three years as a mid-cap analyst at AllianceBernstein, and nine years at Deutsche Asset Management as a small-cap fund manager.
Rathbone IM currently has over £10 billion (€11.6 billion) invested in both UK and international equities.
