Kames Capital has brought in product specialist Graeme Sharpe to join its Edinburgh-based multi-asset team.
Sharpe joins the firm from pensions and benefits consultancy Hymans Robertson where he spent five years as an associate investment consultant.
In his role at Kames, Sharpe will work with the firm’s fund managers, institutional and wholesale teams as well as Kames’ client services team covering the UK and continental European markets.
The hire follows the firm’s launch of its Global Diversified Income Fund in April and the Global Diversified Growth Fund this month.
“His [Sharpe’s] appointment will support the new fund activities both in the UK and across continental Europe,” said Stephen Jones, chief investment officer at Kames Capital.
