BMO Real Estate Partners, part of BMO Global Asset Management, has appointed Florent Hervé as European asset manager, closely following the hire of Assia Amore, who joined as European transaction manager in January.
Hervé will be responsible for asset and project management activities on both BMO Real Estate Partners’ core and value-added business lines across Europe. He will also support the transaction team on an ad-hoc basis.
BMO only opened the Paris office last year as European real estate as an asset class grows in popularity. The office was planned to support the firm’s other European offices in the UK and Germany.
Hervé will report directly to Adrien Brion, European portfolio manager and associate director in the firm’s Paris office, and joins from the asset manager Atream, where he was in charge of closing new acquisitions in France.
Prior to that, he served as senior asset manager at LaSalle Investment Management and asset manager at GE Capital Real Estate.
