London’s Jupiter Fund Management is looking for a non-executive director to chair its audit committee following the resignation of Jamie Dundas on health grounds.
Dundas was non-executive chairman of Jupiter and a director. He was also a member of the nomination and remuneration committees.
Liz Airey, the senior independent non-executive director of the company, becomes the new chairman with effect from September 1. She will also assume the role of chairman of the nomination committee.
Lorraine Trainer has been appointed as senior independent director and Jonathon Bond has been appointed to the nomination committee.
Airey says Dundas has shown “exceptional leadership” since becoming chairman in 2008.
Dundas played a key role in leading Jupiter through its stock market flotation. Airey joined the board shortly before the flotation.
Airey is currently a non-executive director and audit committee chairman of FTSE 250 company Tate & Lyle. Her former director roles include chairman of the Unilever UK Pension Fund between 2008 and 2014.
