iShares has launched Europe’s “first” exchange-traded fund to target local-currency Asia emerging market sovereign debt.
The iShares Barclays Capital EM Asia Local Govt Capped Bond fund targets a basket of bonds from countries including Thailand, South Korea, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.
The fund is physically replicates the bonds and has a total expense ratio of 0.50%.
