Robeco has appointed a former investment manager from the UK’s Railway Pension Fund to its business development team.
Paul Jeffries becomes an executive director covering institutional investors and their consultants in the UK and Ireland.
Jeffries was most recently in a similar role at AQR Capital Management, and before that he was responsible for selecting and monitoring external managers at the railways pension scheme.
He will be based in Robeco’s London office and report to Peter Walsh, head of Robeco UK.
Robeco currently employs 14 people in the UK, where it has about £6 billion (€6.8 billion) of assets under management.
