Invesco has appointed Hermann Pfeifer as head of distribution for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH), effective 11 November.
Pfeifer will be responsible for driving the strategic development of distribution across the region and contributing to advancing Invesco’s targets in ETFS and private markets. He will be based in Frankfurt and report directly to Oliver Bilal, head of EMEA Distribution at Invesco.
Pfeifer (pictured) brings more than 20 years of experience in institutional and wholesale distribution, including a track record in the ETF and index space. Most recently, he was country head for Germany, Austria, Central and Eastern Europe, and Greece at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Other roles have been held at Amundi, Lyxor, Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas.
Invesco noted that the appointment “underscores Invesco’s commitment to growth in the DACH region, with a particular emphasis on expanding its ETF platform and positioning the firm as a leading partner for investors in alternative and private market investments.”
Oliver Bilal commented: “We are delighted to welcome Hermann Pfeifer, a highly respected leader in European asset management. His experience in building and scaling successful distribution channels will be instrumental to our strategic direction in the DACH region. Under his leadership, we will continue to strengthen Invesco’s position as a solutions provider for long-term capital investment.”
