FundBank has appointed David Morrissey as its country head, Ireland, with the task of heading its new Dublin operation.
Morrissey has some three decades of industry experience, including stints at SEI Investments and Waystone. This has included engagement in product development and driving business growth in both Ireland and Luxembourg, and significant experience stablishing cross-border financial services operations.
In Dublin, he will lead the FundBank (Europe) S.A. Ireland team. Responsibilities include operational leadership and business development, and leading all aspects of client service delivery across multiple product lines for FundBank’s Ireland based clients.
Morrissey commented: “I am delighted to come on board at FundBank and look forward to working with the talented team in Dublin. This is an exciting time for the bank, as we continue our global expansion and respond directly to the asset management industry’s requirement for agile, swift and customer-centric banking services within Europe.”
FundBank’s Dublin location opening follows its recent banking operations launch in Luxembourg earlier in 2025. The firm says it is now placed to “provide its European clients with unparalleled levels of customer service and a comprehensive suite of banking products.”
