Ogier, the law firm and provider of corporate services, has added Yann Payen to its Corporate team in Luxembourg.
Payen (pictured) has some 17 years of experience advising on M&A, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, debt securities offerings, group reorganisations, corporate governance and compliance, the law firm stated.
As a lawyer based in Luxembourg, he has authored the Code des Sociétés Luxembourgeois and a member of the scientific committee of the Revue Pratique du Droit des Affaires published by Legitech, which he helped to launch.
Luxembourg practice partner Bertrand Géradin said: “We are thrilled to welcome Yann to the team. The news comes as Ogier has also announced some 47 promotions across its locations in British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Ireland, Jersey and Luxembourg.
There are four promotions within Ogier’s Luxembourg legal services: Fabiana Popescu and Lucie Steinmetz are now managing associates; Laurianne Vessot and Maddalena Bonamini Leitner are now senior associates.
In respect of fund services, it announced that Jeff Pamplin has been progressed in Ireland to head of fund administration for Ogier Global Fund Services, while Mafalda Da Silva Pereira is now an accountant in Luxembourg Corporate and Fund Services.
Also in Luxembourg, Carine Boutin is now senior business development manager, and Mike Gueguen has been progressed to assistant manager on the IT service desk.
