Italian asset manager Eurizon has appointed Alain Barthel as its new head of sales Switzerland, who stepped into the role on April 1.
He is based in Zürich.Barthel brings over 25 years of experience in sales and business development across the asset management and financial services industries. His previous roles include senior consultant at Anglo-Swiss Advisors and head of continental Europe for Brandywine Global Investment Management, part of the Franklin Templeton Group.
Earlier in his career, Barthel held senior sales positions at asset managers including UBS Asset Management, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Barthel holds a Master of Business Administration with honours from the University of Paris XII.
