Martin Gilbert, chairman of AssetCo and Revolut, will join industry leaders at FundsTech Forum 2025 on April 29 in London to share his insights on the evolving landscape of asset management, fintech and digital transformation.
A veteran of the financial services industry, Gilbert co-founded Aberdeen Asset Management in 1983, building it into one of the world’s most prominent independent asset managers before its merger with Standard Life.

With a career spanning decades in asset management, fintech and corporate governance, Gilbert has held numerous high-profile roles, including Chair of the UK’s Prudential Regulation Authority Practitioner Panel, deputy chair of Sky PLC and chair of FirstGroup. He is currently a non-executive director at trader Glencore. In 2015, Harvard Business Review ranked him 22nd among over 900 global CEOs for long-term performance.
