Investment management firm Pimco has bolstered its UK global wealth management team with the appointments of Paul Keogh and Oliver Van Nairn as account managers.
Their addition brings the team’s total to 15 members, reinforcing its efforts to collaborate with wealth managers, financial advisors, and strategic partners across the country to deliver tailored investment solutions.
Keogh will oversee client relationships in the South West, Midlands, and East Anglia regions, while Van Nairn will focus on the South and South East. Both will report to Terry Oh, executive vice president and head of Pimco’s global wealth management business in the UK.
Keogh joins with over 15 years of experience in business development within the financial services sector. Previously, he served as business development director for the East of England at Quilter Cheviot, where he focused on growing assets across bespoke and model portfolios as well as climate asset funds. His prior roles include positions at Royal London Asset Management, Premier Asset Management, and Kames Capital.
Van Nairn brings over a decade of expertise to Pimco. He most recently worked at Royal London Asset Management as a business development manager for the South East region, where he developed relationships with financial advisors, wealth managers, and family offices. His earlier career includes marketing roles at BNY Mellon Investment Management and Cognito.
Terry Oh commented: “We are delighted to welcome Paul and Oliver to PIMCO. Their experience and proven track record in business development will be an asset in further enhancing our client relationships within the UK advisory space. Value has returned to fixed income compared to historical levels and other asset classes, with improved alpha opportunities driven by divergent monetary policies and increased volatility. This is an ideal time for bonds, and Pimco’s unique perspective across the liquidity spectrum enables us to assess relative value effectively for our clients across the country.”
