Brussels-based post-trade services provider Euroclear has appointed Nils Jean-Mairet as group Chief Financial Officer.
The move completes the composition of the group’s new Executive Committee. Jean-Mairet joins Euroclear from McKinsey & Company where he was a Senior Partner, most recently leading the European Financial Services Principal Investors Practice.
A lawyer by training, Nils holds a Master of Law from the University of Lucerne and was admitted to the Swiss bar in 2009. He also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business where he graduated in 2012.
As CFO, Nils will become a member of the group’s Board of Directors. He succeeds Bernard Frenay who, as previously announced, has been appointed to a newly established role as the CEO of European Assets.
