Governance.com, a data management platform provider to fund servicers and management companies, has appointed Henning Swabey as chief commercial officer, based in Luxembourg.
The firm said Swabey brings a proven track record of leadership and a “laser focus” on client needs, and with the appointment the firm plans to “disrupt the status quo” and propel Governance.com’s commercial strategy forward.
Swabey was formerly head of growth at fundcraft and prior to that was head of Emea region at technology firm Calastone
Swabey’s arrival signals a new chapter for Governance.com, the firm said, adding that Swabey’s expertise in navigating complex financial landscapes and building high-impact client relationships will be key in expanding market presence and unlocking innovative solutions.
Swabey said: “I’m excited to join Governance.com and play a pivotal role in our mission to revolutionise fund operations and data management. The opportunity to collaborate with this team and deliver unmatched value to clients is a true motivator. Together, we will push boundaries and redefine what’s possible in the financial sector.”
Ian Atkinson, CEO of Governance.com, said: “Henning’s deep understanding of the funds landscape, coupled with his innovative vision, perfectly aligns with our strategic goals. His insights will be invaluable as we drive technology adoption and focus our offerings to meet evolving client needs.”
Martin Vogel, chairman of the board at Governance.com, said the appointment would solidify the firm’s position as a “FundTech leader”.
