London-based infrastructure manager Ancala has appointed Evgeni Jordanov as a director in its investment team.
Jordanov joins Ancala from RBC Capital Markets where he spent almost nine years in its utilities & renewables team. During this period, he advised on a broad range of infrastructure transactions across the mid and large cap markets.
He previously worked at Morgan Stanley’s power & utilities group where he advised on infrastructure transactions across Europe and the Middle East.
The appointment follows Ancala’s recent acquisition of Solandeo, an owner and operator of smart meters in Germany.
Ancala closed its third flagship infrastructure fund at €1.4bn, €200m above target, in December 2023.
