La Financière Responsible, the French socially-responsible investment manager majority owned by Spain’s Mapfre Group, has appointed Thierry Chesneau as executive chairman, replacing Olivier Johanet who will remain on the firm’s board.
Formerly a top athlete, Chesneau was previously general secretary for compliance at Natixis.
Mapfre first acquired a stake in LFR in 2017, before becoming majority shareholder in February 2023.
