London-based asset manager Aviva Investors has appointed Steven Gardner as head of institutional for Emea.
In the role, Gardner will be responsible for developing the firm’s institutional strategy across Emea, including the UK.
Gardner joins Aviva Investors from Berenberg where he was head of asset management sales & client relations.
After starting his career as a private equity analyst at Standard Life Investments, he has since focused on managing institutional client relationships and sales in roles at Baillie Gifford, Barings, Franklin Templeton and Jupiter Asset Management.
