Mediolanum International Funds Ltd (MIFL), the European asset management platform of Mediolanum Banking Group, has appointed Daniel Loughney as its new head of fixed income.
Loughney, with over 30 years’ experience in the industry, brings deep market insights from his roles at Border to Coast Pension Group and AllianceBernstein Asset Management.
Based in Dublin, Loughney will lead a growing team of investment professionals and oversee internally managed fixed-income strategies. His expertise will contribute to defining the Investment Committee’s macro view, guiding strategic and tactical decisions for all funds, including multi-manager strategies, shared the firm.
M&G Investments appoints head of France
He will report to Brian O’Reilly, head of market strategy, while also working closely with Christophe Jaubert, MILF’s chief investment officer.
Loughney takes over from Charles Diebel, who made substantial contributions to the fixed-income and broader investment team and will remain in an advisory role.
