R3, a distributed ledger technology (DLT) and services firm, has launched a suite of solutions aiming to ease entry for regulated firms facing challenges with digital assets and currencies.
R3 Digital Markets, the offering, will help “preparing for the future of regulated markets, from initial exploration to full scale production”, and is powered by R3’s Corda, the regulatory-compliant tokenisation platform. According to the firm, the product “champions interoperability, not isolation, and ensures businesses are fully equipped to manage both digital and traditional assets effectively”.
The R3 Digital Markets suite comprises R3 Digital Currency, managing the lifecycle of digital currencies; R3 Digital Assets, enabling swift development of tokenisation solutions and digital asset exchanges; R3 Digital Connect, ensuring integration of existing systems and DLT networks; and R3 Digital Lab, a cloud-based collaborative environment supporting custom use cases and providing assistance for launching DLT projects without complex infrastructure.
Kate Karimson, who has been appointed as chief commercial officer to lead the rollout of the new suite, said: “The suit builds on the success of Corda by further removing barriers to entry for firms looking to build innovative DLT solutions, so they can prepare for the future of digital finance.”
