Funds distribution partner Spring Capital Partners has appointed Dani Hristova and Will Nott as non-executive directors (the latter as chairman), as a part of its expansion plans in the UK and continental Europe.
Hristova started in finance at Legal & General Investment Management in 2015, focusing on defined benefit pension schemes. Later, she joined Schroders Investment Management, handling major pension scheme clients. Until May this year, she led UK insurance efforts at Nordea Asset Management.
She was recently appointed CEO of the Independent Investment Management Initiative, the member-led industry think tank representing investment boutiques.
Nott has nearly four decades of experience in asset management. During his 34-year tenure at M&G, he served as CEO of M&G Securities for 17 years, overseeing the global development of the company’s retail and wholesale business. Nott also served as President of EFAMA from 2017-19 and currently chairs Door Ventures, a digital RFP platform.
Commenting on the appointments, Justin Eede, director, Spring Capital, said: “As the CEO of the Independent Investment Management Initiative, Dani has a firm understanding of the needs of boutique fund managers, while Will, having presided over the huge growth of M&G, brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success.”
