Nordea Asset Management (NAM) has announced the re-appointment of Kasper Elmgreen as the chief investment officer for fixed income and equities.
Elmgreen rejoins the firm after a four-year stint at Amundi.
Before his initial tenure at NAM, Elmgreen garnered experience in the asset management sector with roles such as portfolio manager and head of equities at BankInvest Asset Management in Copenhagen.
He made a switch to NAM in 2014, taking on a role in equities.
In 2019 Elmgreen departed from NAM to take up the role of head of equities at Amundi.
Nils Bolmstrand, CEO of Nordea Asset Management, commented, “We are thrilled to welcome Kasper back to the Nordea Asset Management family. Not only does he bring deep-rooted investment and ESG insights, but also strong leadership skills from extensive experience in leading investment teams.”
Echoing the sentiment, Elmgreen shared his enthusiasm about rejoining NAM: “I am really excited about coming back home to NAM to build on the firm’s strong active fixed income and equity business. NAM has exceptional talent across the organisation, as well as a strong culture of responsible investment. I look forward to the great things we will accomplish together for our clients.”
