FE fundinfo unveiled the best-performing funds and sectors for the first half of 2023, with the Technology & Technology Innovation TR sector leading the way, showing a significant 24.83% performance, primarily driven by the AI revolution.
The information, sourced from FE Analytics, highlighted that the Capital Group Global High Income Opportunities was the frontrunner in the Sterling Strategic Bond universe, registering a 4.34% return.
Meanwhile, in the global equity realm, the L&G Artificial Intelligence fund outshone its peers with a striking 36.25% return.
Emerging markets also witnessed notable performers; the Artisan Emerging Markets fund topped the chart with a 14.03% return, while the UK All Companies universe saw the Liontrust UK Focus lead with a 12.86% return.
Comparatively, 2022’s H1 top sectors were Commodity/Natural Resources and UK Direct Property, with performances of 6.81% and 5.33%, respectively.
FE Analytics, which delivers fund research and analysis, is trusted by roughly 4,000 independent financial adviser firms, according to FE fundinfo, providing insights into the outperformers in key Investment Association universes.
