IQ-EQ has hired Sanaa Hira to its ESG team in the newly-created position of sustainability manager.
An ESG analyst by experience, Hira will be responsible for delivering the Luxembourg-based firm’s sustainability strategy.
She will work closely with head of sustainability Mark Harland.
Previously, Hira spent seven years at GAM where she worked as an analyst and consultant.
Most recently she was responsible for assessing potential ESG investment needs, and analysing portfolio company risk.
She holds the IMC and has a BSc in mathematics with statistics.
“We’re going through an exciting period of activity as we look to evolve our ESG programme and embed sustainability throughout the organisation,“ said Harland.
“To support this, we’re growing our sustainability team, and Sanaa is a perfect fit for this newly created role. With her knowledge of ESG and investing, I’m certain she’ll help us deliver on our ESG goals.”
At the start of the month, IQ-EQ moved its Irish headquarters into a ‘sustainable office’ in Dublin.
The 9,700 sq ft building at 76 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay has a Gold Leadership in Energy and Environment Design certification.
