Robeco has appointed Thu Ha Chow to the newly created role of head of fixed income Asia.
The role will further establish Singapore as the hub for Robeco’s Asian fixed income investing with a strong focus on sustainability.
Alongside her role as head of fixed income, Chow will also report to the Rotterdam credit team, working as a portfolio manager in the credit team with a focus on Asian credits.
Previously, Chow worked as a portfolio manager and Asia strategist at Loomis Sayles & Co, and head of Asian credit at Aberdeen Asset Management, based in Singapore.
To further strengthen its base in Singapore, Robeco have hired in the fixed income and sustainability domains to expand the local team to eight investment professionals.
This team now consists of a lead portfolio manager, two credit analysts, a sovereign analyst, three sustainable investing specialists and a client portfolio manager.

Further structural changes to Robeco include Laura Bosch Ferreté relocating to Singapore from Rotterdam to fill one of the sustainable investing specialist positions and David Hawa moving from the Rotterdam office to join as a fixed income client portfolio manager for Asia Pacific.
