Canada Life Asset Management has hired Jordan Sriharan from Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management to work alongside head of multi-asset Craig Rippe in developing and managing a range of mixed-asset investment strategies.
The new range will comprise a suite of five risk-targeted, globally diversified portfolio funds rated III-VII, and three risk-managed funds in the IA Mixed Investment 0-35%, 20-60% and 40-85% sectors, and will be designed for advisers, discretionary fund managers and institutional investors.
In his new role, Sriharan will also manage the LF Canlife Diversified Monthly Income fund, which provides monthly income and capital growth over the longer term by investing globally.
Sriharan joins from Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, where he was head of managed portfolio service for eight years, responsible for managing £700 million in both active and passive risk-profiled multi-asset funds for private clients, charities, foundations, and pension funds.
Prior to this, he managed defined benefit corporate pension funds at Mercer. He has also held positions at both Wellcome Trust and Fidelity.
David Marchant, chief investment officer at Canada Life Asset and managing director of Canada Life Asset Management, said: “We are delighted to appoint an investment professional of Jordan’s calibre to significantly strengthen Canada Life Asset Management’s multi-asset team.
“Having developed and managed risk-profile multi-asset approaches for a number of years, Jordan is a valuable addition as we continue to strengthen our long-term investment strategies and capabilities.”
