Amundi has announced the appointment of Nicolò Focari as head of multi-asset insurance and risk solutions, outsourced CIO solutions.
Focari will be responsible for developing OCIO solutions for insurance clients outside the group and family offices. He will report to Laurent Tignard, head of outsourced CIO solutions at Amundi.
Focari joins from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in New York, where he was senior investment officer – outsourced CIO since May 2016.
Prior to that, he worked for close to 16 years at Credit Suisse Wealth Management, in Europe and the US, starting in the equity Team. He then spent around six years in Milan in the multi asset class solutions first as a portfolio manager and then as head of the equity team.
In 2009 he moved to the investment strategies and solutions team based in New-York, where he was responsible for customized investment strategies and solutions across liquid and illiquid strategies for US and offshore clients.
