Invesco has appointed Richard Glenn to the role of head of UK insurance sales, taking over from Ed Collinge who left the US-based firm to take up a similar position at Robeco towards the end of last year.
Joining from Nomura International, Glenn will be based in London and lead the UK insurance team in Invesco’s insurance plans across the country, working with senior leaders across the company.
He will report directly to Alex Millar, the Atlanta-headquartered asset manager’s head of institutional distribution for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (Emea), as well as become a member of the Invesco Emea insurance working group.
In his latest role at Nomura he was responsible for the product development and sourcing of financing, reinsurance and solutions activity across the European sector.
According to Millar, Glenn will play a “key part” in growing Invesco’s Emea business, drawing from his industry “knowledge and expertise”.
