Aztec Group, the Jersey-founded independent fund and corporate services provider, has appointed private equity specialist Dean Tower to the newly-created position of associate director of its UK operations.
Based in Southampton, Tower will take on relationship management responsibilities for the delivery of fund services to a portfolio of UK-domiciled private equity funds.
He will also play a role in business development and strategic initiatives designed to grow and strengthen the firm’s onshore UK operations.
Born in South Africa, Tower has worked for major UK private equity and private debt managers including roles at Park Square Capital, Lion Capital and Temporis Capital.
Formed in Jersey in 2001, the Aztec Group has had a presence in the UK since 2007, when it first opened an office in London.
Three years later the firm established a full operational presence in Southampton in response to growing client demand for onshore fund, corporate and depositary services.
The firm, which describes itself as multi-jurisdictional, currently employs more than 70 people in the UK and administers over €31.5 billion across 32 UK-domiciled funds.
