Capita Asset Services looks poised to recruit people to work in its Ireland-based management company (Manco) business after appointing Martin Anderson as head of operations.
Anderson, who joins from Carne Group, heads operations for Capita’s Irish third-party Manco, which provides substance and services for Ucits and alternative funds.
Capita said Anderson will “seek to strengthen the team at a time of significant growth potential and regulatory changes”.
The firm, which launched in Ireland in 2006 and is part of UK-listed Capita Group, is planning to roll-out a new post-trade compliance monitoring system in early 2017 and implement other new systems, which Anderson will lead as well as having product development responsibilities.
At Carne, a firm that also provides Manco services, Anderson was chief operating officer and has held senior management roles in fund administration and custody, according to Capita.
He has held a number of director and ‘designated person’ roles within management companies and funds.
It was not stated who Anderson replaces or if the role was new and comment could not be reached.
Capita Asset Services’ fund solutions business employs 500 people and services over 300 funds in the UK, Ireland, Luxembourg and the Channel Islands.
