Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (Deutsche AWM) is to appoint Stefan Kreuzkamp chief investment officer (CIO), head of investment management and member of the firm’s global executive committee on December 1.
The move follows the transition of current CIO, Asoka Wöhrmann, to the role of head of retail banking at Deutsche Bank’s private and business clients division.
Kreuzkamp joined Deutsche AWM in 1998, initially working in money markets and later in fixed income fund management. In his current role as regional CIO of Europe, Middle East and Africa, he oversees equities, fixed income and multi-asset.
“Stefan has played a key role in helping to develop our investment platform over the years, and will continue to provide continuity and stability for our clients and their investments,” says Michele Faissola, head of Deutsche AWM.
Deutsche AWM has $1.27 trillion (€1.11 trillion) in assets under management as of June 30, this year.
