Amundi has appointed Anthony Ho as chief investment officer Asia ex-Japan equities and deputy chief executive officer, Amundi Hong Kong.
Ho will be responsible for managing the investment teams in the region and promoting Asia ex-Japan expertise to Amundi’s clients.
He will report to Xiaofeng Zhong, chief executive officer, Amundi Hong Kong and Romain Boscher, global head of equities.
With a 22-year history in the asset management industry, Ho has experience in investment, research and business management. He joins Amundi from China International Fund Management (Hong Kong), where he was chief executive officer since 2014. Prior to that he was managing director at JP Morgan Asset Management (Hong Kong) from 2012.
He has also worked as deputy chief executive officer at China Asset Management (Hong Kong) and spent 16 years with Fidelity Worldwide Investment.
Amundi has assets under management of more than €950 billion worldwide, as at June 30, 2015.
