Pioneer Underwriters has gone into partnership with law firm Simmons & Simmons to provide regulatory and risk management support to its financial service clients.
The partnership will also allow Pioneer access to “elexica”, the online legal service provided by Simmons.
Richard Coello, head of financial institutions at Pioneer Underwriters, says that in today’s market, insurance is not simply about paying claims if the worst should happen. It is about offering clients effective pre-planning and risk management to prevent or mitigate losses before they occur.
