Aviva Investors has opened an office in Utrecht in the Netherlands as part of the firm’s strategic ambitions to grow assets in the region.
The firms has also appointed Catrinus van Willigen as managing director for the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux) countries. He was previously responsible for establishing strategic relationships at Robeco.
Aviva Investors recently won mandates from Philips Pensioenfonds and Stichting Pensioenfonds Medisch Specialisten – both in the top 20 largest pension funds in the Netherlands.
