The 22nd annual Funds Europe Awards ceremony taking place on 12th November 2026 at the London Hilton Bankside will recognise the category European Index Provider of the Year – as it celebrates the best and the brightest from the pan-European cross border funds industry.
In recognition of the continued growth in use of indices to support investment strategies, those nominated in this category must demonstrate excellence in providing benchmarks, including facets such as:
- Innovation & breadth: Launch of novel indices covering diverse asset classes (ESG, thematic, crypto) and custom solutions.
- Performance & reliability: Proven tracking accuracy, low error rates, and robust data integrity.
- Client adoption: Evidence of significant asset growth linked to indices (ETFs, mandates) and positive client testimonials.
- Regulatory compliance: Strict adherence to international benchmarks regulations (eg, EU Benchmark Regulation).
- Service excellence: Responsive support and seamless data delivery integration.
This year’s awards are grouped across 10 sections recognising key people in the industry, products and services, including recognition of front, middle and back office fundstech, data & data management, innovation & disruption, and index providers.
These Awards are fully independently judged by experts in the industry, who will come together for two days in the autumn to consider entries across all categories, with the winners announced on the night of the Awards ceremony. With over 550 industry practitioners attending, this event is a key celebration of the European cross border funds industry.
