US-based asset manager Vanguard has appointed Ursula Marchioni as head of multi-asset & adviser solutions, Europe.
In this newly created role, Marchioni will oversee Vanguard’s Model Portfolio Solutions (MPS) function and multi-asset teams, the Advisory Research Centre (ARC), and the Portfolio Analytics & Consulting team.
She will join the European Leadership team and report to Jon Cleborne, head of Europe. Most recently, she was a managing director at BlackRock, where she led Investment and Portfolio Solutions across EMEA.

Ursula will be instrumental in leading our experienced teams, who play a key role in helping European and international clients build better portfolios, address their challenges, and adapt to changing market conditions.”
Prior to her role at BlackRock, Marchioni held positions at Credit Suisse, Société Générale and KPMG. She holds a degree in Physics from the University of Trento.
